Inception has such a fantastic concept and story! I loved this movie so much!

The fourth kind with Milla Jovovich
Many people hated this film when it was out last year, but I think that it's not that bad. It's a science-fiction-horror movie made as a "fakumentary" on the possible abductions that have occurred in a small town in Alaska. Just perfect for a week-end night in which you don't wanna use your brain. Avoid if you are feeling deep and philosophical.
He-he-he, as a side note, I have to say that this film took me back to my old Hypocrisy albums... which is always welcome, especially given that they are touring Mexico in a few weeks :nana: .

Tonight I'm going to watch INCEPTION. We'll see... I don't like Di Caprio, but if the plot is good...  :ninja:

And saw it!

Good movie... it makes me remember MEMENTO... Mmmhhh... Wait a minute! But if the director is Nolan, the same one!  :wink2:

I still don't like DiCaprio. But the movie is really good

PD. Lucid dreaming, anyone?  :ninja:

I finally watched Saving Private Ryan.
Pretty good. It's a bit overrated, but it's still a pretty damn good movie.

BURIED

Imagine a Spanish movie, as the director is Spanish, shot in a city near Barcelona. Imagine only one actor, and only one scenario. The actor is american, Ryan Reynolds, and he lives the 90 minutes of the movie inside a coffin. A buried coffin. Only one movile phone with half battery, and a lighter. Imagine you can't take your eyes off the screen for all the movie. Imagine...

I know this movie has been distributed very well... if you think that Spanish movies tend to be confined to Spain. I know it had a lot of good critics. And I know that you must watch it, if you know any cinema where it's shown... Unless you're claustrophobic. Then, DO NOT watch it  :ninja:

Ooh! I love that actor! But a lighter inside a coffin? Doesn't that mean that the guy would be left without oxygen within minutes...or even seconds?  :spock:

Ok, ok... you got the "error" of the movie before watching it
But if you forget this little error (and a few little more), I promise that the movie deserves be watched.  :nana:

The shot was all in two weeks, in Cornellá de Llobregat (more or less 10 km near my hometown   , and very near Barcelona city). It's strange how a Spanish director shot with an American actor and in English language (good or bad, all or almost all the cinemas here show it dubbed into Spanish, as usual), and he had so good ciritics. I can say it's not a perfect movie, but really good.
soooo good although it was made with so few resource, and it has so a good plot and good performance by the ONLY actor there.

Have I said you must watch it?

Have I said you must watch it?

You have, indeed, mentioned that before, my queen.  -_-

Well, yeah, it does sound interesting. It has enthused a critical watcher such as you, so it cannot be bad. I'll keep my eyes open for it!

Cheers!

Sounds good to me. Thanks for the tip, Luth, I'll look for it, see if I can catch it somewhere on this side of the pond.
Oh! and about shooting in English, I guess it's because there are producers who like to make sure that their films are going to be shown in other places in the world. Amenabar has done that a couple of times I believe.... but anyway it's always better to have a good film in any language that a bad one in English.

A Clockwork Orange. Again. I believe everyone's heard of it so I won't talk about it much, I'll just say - unless you already have, watch the movie!

Oooh, "The Colour of Magic"! Haven't seen any of the movies based on Pratchett's work. As I understand it, they're not half bad. Some are even good.

The last movie I saw was "Wilde" (1997).

Unsurprisingly, it's about the life (and work) of Oscar Wilde. He's wonderfully portrayed by Stephen Fry.

Wilde is a good movie indeed, I watched it quite a while ago. They couldn't have chosen a better actor to portray Oscar, imho.

As for me, I just finished watching Inception a minute ago. I had to see it since everyone's all crazy about it, and I've gotten a hundred of recommendations considering that movie. I did doubt the quality and everything I must admit, especially after everyone's gone all crazy for Avatar (which is a shitty movie, but everyone seems to love it), however, I found the movie quite good and enjoyable. What I loved in particular is how you're sure about everything the whole time until the end of the movie, which just...makes you question everything. What a mindfuck (pardon my French). What a mindfuck.
