Too long time with no Official Announcement

Although I've been thinking it for long, now I've finally decided: this June I'm taking the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) exam. That's the following step after the First Certificate, which I already own. And the last one I'll take, as the next one is unattainable for me, unless I'm going to live for some years to England and study everyday of all-type subjects in perfect English

Until now I had it in mind, but I was not sure because my speaking and, very specially, my listening skills, are not very high, but now, after Barcelona gathering, I feel more confident in both skills

So... if I have success in that exam, I'll be able to properly kill English with the knowledge of it!!

premedicated murder is much most effectively, then killing on accident.

Ok. Soon it will be over. On 3th June I have the oral exam, and on 15th I have all the other parts of the exam (Reading, Writing, Use of English and Listening). On July, 26, I'll know the results

OMG... I'm scared. I'm not sure that the examiner is going to appreciate my special vocabulary...

In case they fail to recognise and acknowledge your abilities at ~~killi~~ speaking English, their frightening and horrible deaths will look just like accidents - bizarre yet deadly. Nobody's going to see the connection between their weird death (involving red and blue scarves as well as spoons and pinkberries) and a certain evil queen.

My fingers are crossed, of course. They'll really keep you waiting six weeks for the results?

Yep, in this technologic era, I have to wait six months. I don't rememeber how long it was in the First Certificate, but I think it was even more

I don't fear (too much) about the reading/writing/use of English part; I quite fear the listening and, what it is the worse, it's the speaking. Apart from the fact that nerves are required, and I have too much of them, I know they are really tough with this part. I wish I don't say any american word, or they'll hang me from the finger in the highest part of the ship

Nope, it's CAE (Certificate in Advanced English). It's European (so... English, not American). I'm not sure of the equivalent in American English

Hey folks,

I prefer British English to American, anyway. Well, I prefer early modern English to modern, but that's a bit too much, I suppose.

Anyway, Luth, they just ought to know that their health depends greatly on your marks. And I'm sure they'll be fine because I'm sure you'll pass, and you'll pass with a good result.

Just wondering, cause the IELTS is given out by the Brits as well. And the States gives out the TOEFL. Both of them are too expensive for their own good.

Oh...well... speaking done! Unluckily I had not the chance to perform my Notessomist Special English today... perhaps I'll try with the Writing

I think I performed it quite well, at least I've comitted no deadly mistake I am aware of, and I didn't babbled too much. Does it counts?
