However, is the intelligent designer not a sort of a deity? Or at least a higher power? Because if the intelligent designer was a form of life acknowledged by human knowledge, this implies that that the intelligent designer was designed by something else... Thus still implying the existence of a higher power, not necessarily a God, but still a sort of higher power...
Now what's the belief in the intelligent design called? Designertheism?

The advocators of this idea dub it "Theory of Intelligent Design", but it is not a theory in the scientific sense of the word because it cannot be disproven. I call them UDOs, by the way: Their construct is nothing but creationism, weakly disguised as a scientific idea and - as you have shown - very easily unmasked. Hence I mockingly call them "Unintelligent Designed Ones".

To resume the original topic: This is not to be confused with weekly disguising unintelligently designed ones!
