My dear skygazers,
you should have seen last Saturday's sunset from my sunset hill near our cottage! I went to see it with Abby and as we left the cottage, the very last rays of the sun were golden on the ripe wheat. The sun was still blazing bright as it set, almost too bright to behold directly. But the sky around was glowing with gold - and the most beautiful sight was opposite it: Towards the southwest, beneath the pink bow called "belt of Venus", the night was rising in leaden gray, and an almost full moon was rising above and to the right of that. Wonderful!
Cheers!
Markus
