Does everyone say it's good? over here reviews have been around 6.5 - 7.5 out of 10. ...I think 7.5 is fair.

It's enjoyable in a retro kinda way, good fun but cheesy - exactly what you'd expect from Helloween. I've been enjoying listening, and I'd say it's as good as anything else they've produced in the last 10 years. Not a classic, but good nonetheless.

Hi folks,

I just bought Nicholas Lens: Flamma flamma, the Fire Requiem. Someone had mentioned it on the official forum recently, and that reminded me that a friend of mine from Rudolstadt had recommended me that work as well. I just had a short first listening so far, but I'm impressed.

Hey folks,

by now I can say some more about "Flamma Flamma". It's modern music for orchestra, classical vocalists and choir. The pathos is broken every now and then in a nice and humorous way by a small squawking choir of "fireflies".

The whole work is unusual, but interesting and really great to hear. Not the atonal nuisance we're supposed to consider music today, but pleasant to hear and touching despite all modernity.

Well, and now I don't get the title track out of my head or out of my playlist: "Flamma flamma, ex sole and stellis surrepta". :firedevil: I feel like setting the town on fire and dancing madly around.
