I'm freezing too! I was outside today and I was wearing winter boots, tights + socks, jeans, long shirt, polar jacket, winter jacket, gloves, scarf, hat and a hood. IT ALL DIDN"T HELP! It is soooo cold that my fingers were turning purple.. Now I'm finally home, eating hot cucumber soup and warming up my fingers by touching the bowl ;)

Yep... It's getting pretty cold, and the snow is actually settling in.
6cm of snow or so. :ninja: That was all from snowfall last night.

Cold is coming here... tomorrow and Friday it will be fully here. It's said that there will be the lower temperatures for almost 25 years... and we'll be below 0 even on the coast. Well... I'll be able to tell you, as I live on the coast  :fish:

Unfortunately, no pics. But it's really wonderful, with snow and lots of sun.

The cold is heavy, though. It's so cold that sometimes I'm even wearing and undershirt beneath my pullover, and that surely means something! :lol3:

Strange thing is that up to now the winter was way too warm so nobody really expected this anymore. Meteorologists say that cold at this time of the year may mean a long winter, well into March. We'll see... I'm also curious about the winter coming to Spain now.

it's -15º right now in Warsaw. Coming nights it will be about -30º! - or just they say that.. but it was almost -20º last night.. brrrrr! :afaid: :afaid: :afaid:

Agnes, that cold is really heavy. This is weather that I'm taking serious because it's getting scary - you don't want to be stuck outdoors in that cold! :afaid:

PS. Of course, I’m talking about the coastline. On the mountain (the Pyrinees, for instance) I’ve heard they can arrive at -20º...  :ninja:

PS2. I've just read that near the Tordera (the river that it's a few kilometers from my town) they can reach -14º???!! That's the usual temperature on winter on the mountain!  :afaid: :blink:

Myself, I like the cold a lot. Spring is not all the fun it can be unless there was some serious frost first. I even find the dry, biting cold very invigorating!

Tomorrow it's possible I see snow (not much forecast). I don't mind, I even enjoy because its rarity... If I don't get stuck in Barcelona because trains or car transport is absolutely impossible, as it happened to me two years ago  :ninja:

Uh... oh... and heavy winds and, of course, WAVES. If there is a little cold and a few snow, and my train decides there are a lot of tecnical problems and can't travel... For Markus and Lucy, who know how near from the sea my train goes, imagine! I can imagine:

"No, no, no!! We can't travel! You see... for sure the train will slip with ice, and if not, it will be swallowed by a gigantic, frozen wave. And, if not, the Mayas will be right and the End of the World will happen now!!"

Tomorrow can be an "interesting" day :roll:
