Oh, that sounds very pleasant, miladies! Lucy, you do need to keep your plants happy so they can keep your bees happy.
Here, the day started sunny and calm. Then it got cloudier, and around 5:30 pm I observed something from my office that I've never seen in the flesh before. You have to know that my office is on the 4th floor of a building that's the highest within a few kilometers on a very flat piece of land, so I have a wide view over the surrounding fields, to a distant horizon.
So there were those low dark clouds rolling in beneath the higher ones, and looking out of the window I noticed something like a cloud travelling right across the ground. It was a cloud of dust, apparently, and it got stronger as it moved across a barren dry field. It looked just like the cloud of debris at the base of a tornado! Was it rotating? I can't tell for sure. I guess not, but at times it seemed to be. There was no funnel descending from the clouds above as you'd expect for a tornado. But as that structure reached some - what? agricultural truck-trailers? bales of straw? - it immediately tore something high into the air.
That structure quickly moved on and dissipated. I'm not sure what it was. A small and faint tornado? Dunno, but at least it was one hell of a wind.
Right after that thing there was a front of heavy rain coming along. Whatever it was, I'm impressed!
Cheers!
