Underworld - Rise of The Lycans
Cool movie, anyone liking prequels will like this one as well
8/10

Slumdog Millionaire
Good movie, very deep and good shower of pain and lifestyle of some countries, you just fall for something in that movie.
9/10

Valkyrie
Hating Tom Cruise lately, but putting that on the side, movie is good.
8/10

My Bloody Valentine 3-D
If the film wasn't 3D it would be totally average movie I wouldn't watch in cinema.
6/10

Confessions of a Shopaholic
Standard comedy for girls.
6/10

Bolt
Hilarious as most animated movies
8/10

The Pink Panther 2
Horrible, horrible... much worse than prequel, nothing can touch even close to original movies. I laughed a few times during movie from surprise how stupid can it be and how low they can get.
3/10

Yeah but I still expect it to be funny at some level, it's a "comedy" right?
This really was not funny. At all.

The Reader. A very good movie!! Not a black and white one, as life is not. Not an easy movie... I don't want to explain more, as perhaps somebody want to see it. I recommend The Reader!!!

These last days I got the chance to see these movies:
Rightgeous Kill with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino --- Waste of time and money. Why do I have the impression that Pacino has been playing the same character for years now?

12:08 east of Bucharest. The Palme d'or winner in 200....7? . I usually don't like films that win something at Cannes film festival, but this one is a big exception. Great stuff, very funny and a camera man that plays a hiden character and drives you completely crazy  . Very, very good film.

Slumdog millionaire. Everything has already been said about this film. So, i will only add this:
Volons, volons, laisse toi porter par ta croyance immortelle, laisse ton désir devenir tes ailes...

Twilight - don't want to make a huge discssion about it.. all I'm saying is that this movie has nothing to do with vampires in general.. it's a romantic movie... sort of teenage stuff.. actually it's very likeable but somehow leaves you emotinaly empty.. maybe the books are better.. dunno.. But I like the movies soundtrack best :P

Silent Hill - again.
I like that movie a lot. With each new watching I find another hidden stuff in the story.

But now I am really looking forward to oncoming movie Coraline unfortunately it comes in June :/ It's based on a novel by Neil Gaiman.
But then again, who does.

I watched True Blood season 1.. 12 parts.. have to say it's good.. funny.. lots of sex and blood   :P Again some vampire stuff so if you're not interested in them it's not worth watching..  I liked the whole thing just at the end they could make a more spectacular ending.. I feel like smth is missing in the final part.. and they put too much info in last part so you don't even get a feeling of some sort of compact story.. but anway.. can't wait for the new season to come out.. and also the third season of THE TUDORS!

A Clockwork Orange
again  :nosweat: I really really like this movie. Not many people I know do too, though...haha...I can understand them however, but imo, this is one movie really worth watching. And with a cool message as well :)

The Machinist (with Christian Bale)... psychological, scary, distressing... a kind of mixture between American Psycho and Spider.

I watched this weekend.. Blow (with  J. Deep), very good movie!

Than White Oleander.. hmm.. a bit depressing.. at least for me.. some bad family relationships and such.. it's not bad but I've seen better movies with such theme..

Than The Clockwork Orange.. it's really fascinating! The beginning is so like.. WTF??(murder, rape, beating drunk old men...)  But all in all it's such a great movie!
But.. what's with British men and sex?

Than I watched The Ring Of The Nibelungs.. again..  just love it soo much!

And also.. after Alu's posted it.. I dl The Machinist! Really great stuff! And Christian is so skinny.. he really looks like he would be half dead!  :afaid:

Yesterday night I watched (again) "Amélie"... a fantastic French movie that shows how American movies can be beaten with imagination. I love this one.

And today: " Manhattan Murder Mystery" (Woody Allen). It's second time I watch it. One of the best ones from Woody Allen: I love the little replicas from Allen!!! They're so fast (as if it was normal to say that) and hilarious!  :lol3:

Knocked Up (7/10)- Ok, not precisely great for a family to watch, nor a groundbreaking movie in general. But it was nice to watch, I laughed at some points.
Everything is Illuminated(9/10)- Amazing movie, among the best I've seen in a while. It nearly made me cry at a very emotional point, and made me laugh a pair of times too. I highly recommend it. ^_^ "Everything is Illuminated, in the Light of the Past"

A long weekened ... a few more movies to my "done" list:
Australia: Too long, too predictable, too many clichés, too overwhelming music, too boring... too much!

Sleuth: A remake of a movie from the 70's. A millionaire and a young actor are face to face to settle things down. The millionaire is married to a woman he doesn't love anymore and the young one is the lover of that woman. A "theatre-like" kind of movie. The good thing is that Michael Caine played the young man in the original movie and the millionaire in the remake. It was nice to them back to back. Both of them are very good by the way.

Transsiberian: A drug-dealing thriller about two very different couples that take the Transsiberian train while looking for some "adventures". An OK movie, but at some places it sounds like deja-vu. The good point is that it doesn't fall into the classic American clichés for this king of movies (i.e. when a guy is dead, he is dead, he doesn't come back to die again in the last minute).
