Thank you, friends, for your care and, Markus, for your advice!

I still don't go out, and, of course, will call a doctor if feel worse. Today I have only a very nasty cough.

My dad with his friend.... they had a trip. They invited us (my mum and me), too, but being afraid of these infections and snakes we decided to stay home).

 Wow, Siren,

I bet that apart from this ugly "souvenir" they must have had lots of stories to tell and perhaps they have also brought some interesting real souvenirs. India is definitely a country that fascinates me and that I'd like to see one day... where exactly have they been to? I mean, India is biiiig. :)

Cheers!

Friends, take care of all your health :)

I just finish my finals and came hometown.  Many things happened these days and I feel a little tired.
Yestday completing my last exam I went hosipital to look after my grandma. She has been fine now.
I was a little shocked when I saw she with tubes. My families didn't tell me what the processing of grandma's situation. In fact the operation last week she took was on the lung.( well, my English is totally run out in Medical part)
She felt uneasy in eyes a month before, and the test turned out muscle weakness, and later something suggested cancer... Twince CT tests said it WAS cancer, and that test seldom made mistakes (I still feel terible when I type this sentence...) My families concealed these result from my grandma, my cousin and I. We couldn't handle this if it was ture.
THANKS EVERYTHING the operation make it clear that it was benign tumor of lung. Now my grandma is fine, although within a little inflammation.  No cancer, no other terrible thing.

Sometime a little symptom suggest much more important things. So, friends, please take care when you feel anything is unsual...

Yep! My dad bought a lot of souvenirs)). I love wooden elephants most of all - very beautiful work!!
Well(((, I don't remember the name of the town where they stood. It was a little town with a strange name. And they visited 3 more small ones, so they learned more about the local tradition then in general.

Thank you my friends:)

I went hometown yesterday as my best friend would go to Denmark as an exchange student and tomorrow he will on his way. If I didn't meet him today there will be another half of a year to see him next time (last time we met was 1 year ago )

Now I am in my dormitory in Shanghai again. I will accompany my grandma in the daytime before her leaving the hospital. Then my aunt can have some relax. Although what my grandma (she is already 78-year-old !) took was minimally invasive thoracic surgery, it was thoracic surgery anyway. I can feel the pain though she wouldn't like to tell us how much pain she feel.
The time will be quick to past if there is someone to talk with. :)

Yes Markus, my family all think it's lucky.  :) All will be fine.

For old people every kind of surgery is very traumatic, but I'm sure she'll be fine soon!!! Once more I wish her to be healthy and stay in a very good mood!

I'm sorry to hear that :(

A good thing, though, that she was sedated and felt nothing....

As Luthy said - it's great she didn't feel any pain...

My sincere condolences, JR. I'm very sorry to hear that - it must be a terrible loss to your whole family but especially to your brother-in-law. I wish you a lot of strength now and hope that the fact that her death did not come surprisingly, the fact that you were somewhat expecting it, makes the loss a little easier to cope with.

Best regards and a big hug

I feel tired but happy.
Had my math mid-term exam today; 2 intense hours of crunching integrals and derivatives. That was followed by some physical activity at the school's weight room.
