Pessimistic... I can't know yet, but I have the feeling my contract won't be renewed at December. When they hired me, they told me the renew would happen depending on the amount of work. Right now, I can say I have almost no work; I've asked my colleagues, and they told me that last year (when I have been in the company) it has been an abnormal amount of work, and it's likely that next year things will continue as it use... so, less work than now.

I feel like as if I'm looking for a new job very soon

Even so, I try to be optimist and think "well, perhaps they finally renew me because of my value or because of more work coming"; even loosing the job, I can get a new job, or stablish myself as a worker for my own... but all that is so unsure...

I prefer not to say anything yet, I'll have to wait a month or more to know what happens. Even if it happens what I fear, it can be the first step to something better... until now, it has been that way. But I can't help to worry and feel a little stressed

Aww, poor Luth!

Of course it's stressful when you feel that you might lose your current job. But then again, as you say, if the worst happens, then you have at least had a paid job for as long as it lasted and you had the opportunity to gather new experiences which may prove helpful later. Of course I wish you that your current employment continues, but if not - don't resign! You'll make your to something new for sure.

Perhaps you want to look for something new already? Even if your contract gets continued it can't hurt to have something new at hand already.
