Hey Lava,

admittedly, I have no idea. The figure is a humanoid shape with two bird-heads and a human face on each knee... Well, yes, the lyrics mention mandragora, but why exactly does this figure make you think of that?

Cheers!

Markus

Well yes,

but why that very strange figure? The faces on the knees, the two bird-heads - these must have a reason, don't you think?

Cheers!

Well, I think the image is not connected to the concept of GK, because it's printed on the L/SB CD-s too. And that was in 2004.

It's difficult to see it, the surface of the CD is very dark, but if you move it you can catch the right angle of the light. Or it's only on the digipak version?

So this fiugure also appears on the GK artwork...? Interesting...
It may have to do with Abraxas, for remember this God could be represented as a creature with bird or lion head, human torso and serpent limbs or a pain in the neck for our TS members. :lol3:
Or it could be a representation of an Egyptian God, Horus, that could also explain the eye on the cover of GK. But this is only if we look at the head as a bird, like I do when I look at my "Sirius B" CD.

EDIT: I just read the lyrics for "Der Mitternacht Löwe" and at some point it says "Fear the eagle", it could have something to do with this figure.
It could also be a symbol Thomas Ewerhard just came up with.

The Pigeon of Doom, perhaps?
