Wow, Lucy,

one of the rare birtles (flying turtles). :yeha: Can you take a pic of it, flying around your livingroom-lamp?  :wOOt: Please.

And seriously: The Christmas-tree-pics are ravishing. :)

Cheers!

Thanks! Actually, we have two trees, the white bird stands on a living one, a houseplant-pine. The second one is (was) the official Christmas tree.

A houseplant-pine? You don't happen to know the species, do you? And it doesn't happen to bear seeds right now?

Cheers!

Well, no, sorry... it grows slowly, it's about 70 cm now, and every year it grows another "floor" of branches. But I'll do a little research for you. :) On the photo with the turtle and the birdie you can see the trunk.

I once had a dog. He was cute and fluffy and playful, as things under my influence usually are, but one day when I came home he wasn't there anymore. My folks told me he ran away. I, being a young (albeit strappin') lad at the time, was heartbroken.

Then there was that time I had a kitten. It was cute and fluffy and playful, as things under my influence usually are, but one day when I came home it wasn't there anymore. My folks told me it ran away. I, being a young (albeit strappin') lad at the time, was heartbroken.

...

You know, now that I think about it, I begin to see a pattern.

And, you know, there was that time I had a goldfish...

This might sound like a cock-and-bull story to you, but I shit you not. I really did have a dog and a kitten and they both *did* disappear under mysterious circumstances. 'fcourse, although I was a young boy at the time (well, younger than I am now, in any case), the ominous concoctions my parents and grandparents tried to sell me were dubious to say the least (even to a infant such as I was). The fact remains that my grandparents were known dog-haters and that my mother is a cat-despiser. Thank Cthulhu I didn't pick that up from them.

*sigh*

Damn, I loved that dog.

Forget his name, though.

*shrugs*

Another Latin name is Araucaria excelsa, but it seems to be the same species to me.

Blasphemy, loving a dog and not remembering the poor thing's name  ¬¬

Anyway... *gives hankie to Lucy* Go on, girl, wipe those eyes. I know how you're feeling! *wipes her own tears*
Nighthawk... please, please, pretty please, come to the Therion chat! Promise I'll be a good girl and don't laugh - too much!  :lol3:

Thanks Tequila!

Well... I was a young tyke and it was quite a long time ago. My memory ain't what it used to be...

My memory was *never* what it used to be, but that's beside the point, I guess.

You know, I try and I try but I just can't remember. I think it has something to do with childhood traumas. I mean, other than having my pets systematically removed by a higher force.

If you don't laugh, I'll take that as a sign I'm doing something wrong.

I just might drop by one time... can't promise much, though, considering that tomorrow I'm movin' back to my country's glorious capital (*wavesredflag*) in order to participate in trivial social gatherings, like those things we have at college where we're all in a classroom and this guy keeps talking about something and I fantasize about playing a guitar on his desk.

...

Philosophy studies, they call it.

But I'll see what I can do.

Thanks Tequila!

Only time to say:

Lucy, I have a bird of this kind too! It used to have his she-couple, but she died long time ago  :bawl: Now he's the only and healthy one!

:yeha: So you can see how cute he is! What's his name?

How do you manage to keep cats and bird together?

His name is "Tec", and he is as cute as yours... or more  :innocent:

The bird is in a cage. First times my cats used to look very suspicious at birdies, but now they've get used to them (Tec is the only one remaining  :disgust: ). I wouldn't let the bird free in the room with my cats free, though  :ninja:
