Then I was assuming it right!

And as of snoring... don't even mention it, I had to stand a 78 year old lady snoring in the same hotel room (my dad's auntie)

Hi there,

my parents have a balcony with a rather free horizon to the Southwest. From there I can tell whether Luth is asleep or not by just listening carefully.

Heya Markus, I have a similar problem on this side of the pond. When I go out to my balcony (which is facing east) during the end of the afternoon/beginning of the evening I can hear a background growling... as if some distant (and terrible) being were snoring like an active volcano. Do you think this is a global problem?

all I can tell you is that the inhabitants of some Pacific islands have for centuries been revering an obscure thunder goddess. Her unpronouncable local names usually mean something like "She Who Thunders From Afar When The Sun Is High".
