Mmmmh... I was going to add a point to your karma... but...

I think I won't

Hmmm... do something good to improve your karma, Sirius! (Hint: Threatening and blackmailing people doesn't count as good, actually.)

You could donate some cookies, some wine, some postings - whatever. Then your karma will go off like a rocket.

Cheers!

Can anybody see and submit karma votes? I know that Xiquet can't, and I think it may be because you need some number of posts or something... but I don't find the error in the admin board...  :ninja:

I just cast some dice to decide whether to applaud or smite our dead star. It worked perfectly well for me.

Cheers!

Quoting myself... I change my post: I saw what happens. You can't modify any karma until having 100 posts. Good idea, though  :lol3:  :ninja:

*Takes Markus coin and cast it*....... *coin falls in a perfectly vertical position*
Markus, man, your coin is broken!

It will be a stupid question: what's all this karma-thing about?

You can vote people: applaud for a positive vote, and smite for a negative one. The +/- numbers show the number of applauds or smites each has gathered.

Off-topic: I'm baaaaack!!! I've been at the seaside 10 days

1. It seems we might create a thread explaining the karma thing... not the only one asking about it!

2. Good to have you here again, Eli! And happy you enjoyed the vacations!  :yeha:

PS. Is ViruS back too?  :ninja:

2. Good to be here too  I cought perfect beach weather! And yes, ViruS returned yesterday. He wouldn't miss a football match

Never mind the other High Admin. Just lead a revolution and everyone will follow you (what a change, ain't it?). The target's getting the shoutbox back, after all!

Well, you might know the Spanish sentence "consultar con el cojín", don't you?
Title: Re: Karma
Post by: Elizabeth on August 07, 2006, 12:13:55 pm
It's probably very Spanish, 'cause I didn't know it *blush* Besides, in Argentina we use almohada instead of cojin.
Title: Re: Karma
Post by: Luth on August 07, 2006, 12:16:21 pm
Perhaps... "Almohada" is correct too, as well as "cojín" is. Maybe the sentence is more correct with the "almohada", though...  :innocent:

Even with almohada replacing cojin, I still don't know the exact meaning of the sentence, I can just assume it.

It means that I'll have to think it more carefully. As if asking the pillow would give me some answer

Then I was assuming it right!  :wOOt:  And as of snoring... don't even mention it, I had to stand a 78 year old lady snoring in the same hotel room  (my dad's auntie)  :mad3:  ¬¬

Hi there,

my parents have a balcony with a rather free horizon to the Southwest. From there I can tell whether Luth is asleep or not by just listening carefully.

Cheers!

Heya Markus, I have a similar problem on this side of the pond. When I go out to my balcony (which is facing east) during the end of the afternoon/beginning of the evening I can hear a background growling... as if some distant (and terrible) being were snoring like an active volcano. Do you think this is a global problem? :afaid:

I don't know, buddy,

all I can tell you is that the inhabitants of some Pacific islands have for centuries been revering an obscure thunder goddess. Her unpronouncable local names usually mean something like "She Who Thunders From Afar When The Sun Is High".

Cheers!

Hey Lucy,

you get positive karma when someone applauds to you, negative when someone smites you.

Cheers!

Hi there,

it's very nice of Xiquet to take his lady's party, but then again...

Imagine a courtyard in Sicily. A pizza boy of perhaps ten ot eleven years is there as a witness against a major mafia leader. That mafia boss is casting threatening looks at the poor child, and the audience is full of cold-blooded mafia killers. The kid says that the man under suspicion has nothing whatsoever to do with any criminal actions.

Would you believe him?

Cheers!

Could be necessary that I invite Markus for some drink  :drunk:, I'm shure that later he will have change his mind... Or in oher case  :fish: jejeje...
