Are there a bands thah you never liked?  Why?
I never liked Manson, I think only one of his albums is more-less exceptable to me.
Not mentioning he is all just showbuissnes.

Hi there,

sure, there are quite a few. I agree about MM, for instance, for the same reasons. Also Edguy were never really interesting to me; perhaps I just don't share their humour.

Then I listened into Impaled Nazarene last week and disliked it, too. The music was too plain and too screechy for my ears, and the lyrics... if they mean them, they belong to jail, if they don't they have the sickest humour. (And I do mean "sick" as in "disgusting and not even funny").

The list is probably longer, but these came to my mind right now.

The list is endless! I don't like either death/black metal (and that includes Therion's musical past) or other screechy, messy type of music, so that discards a lot of bands from start.

Ah! an old topic re-incarnated!
I don't like most commercial pseudo-metal bands (perhaps because I get into metal listening to that kind of stuff? :blink:). The most recent example would be Trivium... Yes, they are good musicians, but their attitude sucks at the highest level (saw them live last year and I had to leave). I also have a lot of problems with brutal-noisy-death-metal (i.e. Cryptopsy) and with stupid-racist-black-metal (i.e. Burzum). The list of bands I dislike will probably be endless, but that's the idea. :unsure:

Btw... let me reply the question, although a little late...

As some of you have stated, I can't say one band I dislike, as there are "genres" I don't like as a whole: I don't like death metal (only if it's not pure... let's say... middle Therion albums like Lepaca can be hearable for me, or some growls on some bands like Haggard, Tristania...). I also dislike (this time, FULLY dislike) black metal, so don't ask me for names, because I don't know them.

Besides that, I can't say a lot. I prefer to say what I like than the contrary  :blush:

Yup, I cannot listen to Manowar either. Their Warriors Of The World's is nothing but spectacular, huge mistake I did when I bought it some years ago!

I mean they wear furry underwear! They can't be serious :afraid1:

I don't like Overkill 'cuz I think the singer's voice is too annoying, and it drives me nuts  :wacko:

And Nessun Dorma is something that not many bands could even attempt!  Sure their earlier stuff is actually more fun, but Manowar are still great!  Who cares about furry clothes and dodgy image!  This band writes music that is lots of FUN!  Eric Adams is a great singer, and Warriors of The World has some good tunes on it.  Go on, I dare you to play it again!  Smile with it!  -_-

well, i don't manage to listen to grind\death metal =))
Some power metal bands are stupid becuase they are too similar to each other... Same lyrics, same song-structure... =\

AND I HATE NU-metal. Puke. It's completely commercial music without spirit and soul of METAL

I just to like Hammerfall, but nowdays they are so boring to me, and almost all power metal is boring to me except Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray and Grave Digger (i consider Heavy but anyways)
