Well ermmm... don't hate me, but I prefer the original version from Mecano. Ana Torroja had a much more powerful voice than the Haggard's singer. But hey.. the song is still pretty good (not to mention the orchestral arrangements), and I like the story too

I prefer the original too, but Haggard's cover is the best cover IMO (and there are many covers let me tell you that
