Effin angry!! So I applied for this exam that was supposed to take place on 26th November, but SUDDENLY they decided to change the date, changed it in the oh our famous Studomat, and now it tells me that the date was actually 17th, and since I hadn't had time to unregister, I have only 3 tries left (it counts as if I took the exam this time). B-e-a-utiful. Goddammit!

Soneofa. Would like to say I'm shocked, but sounds like business as usual.

Still, three attempts seem like a good window. It should be four, considering them's the rules, but since when does our educational system play by its own rules?

Hopefully it's not a tough exam. Is it?

Not that it makes any difference regarding your frustration with their jackassedness (yes, that's a word).

Thanks everyone!

Well, it's not that hard I suppose, but it's complicated (because of all the readings we have to do and write quizzes on them prior to the exam), plus it's the last year's course that I still haven't finished so that makes it kinda even scarier :ninja: Ahhh! I hope to finish it by February, but still, I'm so frustrated.

@Topic: I feel a dichotomy of feelings. For one, I'm happy I'm seeing someone special again, but at the same time, I don't want want to go back to school.
Well, at least being in Jordan was nice. I saw some pretty awesome Roman ruins, the beautiful city of Petra, the place where Jesus was baptized on the Jordan river, the border with Palestine/Israel, Mount Nebo (where Moses saw the Promised Land) and floated on the Dead Sea. On the last, man, it's salty! It's so damn salty I felt a burning in my nipples! :ninja:

MS Office. Word works, so does Excel, but PP doesn't, and that's what I was hoping to make work. It would be okay if this was the only problem, BUT, every time I click the right mouse button on a file and want to open it with, say, word, it shows a bunch of words and excels and pps and accesses and everything.  :ninja: uninstalling and reinstalling everything didn't help -.-

Rundown. If an undead horse with a bad digestive system were to take a dump on a stack of Ayn Rand books, the end product would still look better than I feel.

On the bright side, apparently I know QBasic at least as well as a sixth-grader. Gonna put that in my CV.
