hi everyone

I just signed up, figured I would post a short post to introduce myself. 

I've just recently discovered Therion, a freind got me into Nightwish and I found Therion while looking for similiar music.  A little while later I found that I liked Therion a lot more than Nightwish :P  I'm in the US, DC area.  I was kinda sad when I saw that Therion played at a club 15 minutes away from me last year, if only I knew about the group then... I'm sure it was an awesome show.

Since I have only been listening to the group for a few months, it's hard for me to pick a favorite song or Cd yet.  I really like the live version of "To Mega Therion" on Crowning of Atlantis.  I like every CD I have listened too, though I haven't heard much of the stuff before Theli.

My name is Giles, but I'll just go by "dark" on here.

welcome, and thanks for the introduction! :)

I can imagine how you must feel about the concert... there were one or two Apocalyptica shows in my town before I knew I like them, so I didn't go there and I regret that today. However I have never been such a great fan of theirs as I am of Therion, so I bet you're suffering worse.

I was lucky enough to know their music before their 1st concert here (Romania), but....still, I can imagine how  :mad3: you were when you heard. Hehe.

Thanks for the welcome :)

Since I missed the show last year I am going to have to find a way to see them live next time they are in the US for sure, even if I have to take time off work and fly somewhere.

You are exactly like me in a way ,,, i started at first with Nightwish ,,, then a godly sheep gived me some Therion .. So there you have it ... here i am , enjoying every Therion mp3
