Just thought I'd commend this project. Beautiful stuff.
My hat is off to you.
That is, it would be if I wore one.
EDIT:
Ohkay, I noticed a slight flaw in the Therion Manifesto.
Under Dagon, it says '
"The great fish" in Hebrew. Phillistine deity of agriculture and storms.' This is debatable at best, owing greatly to the vague connection between the Cthulhu Mythos and our own - while Dagon *does* resemble the Philistine deity, at no point does Lovecraft directly mention that he *is* the Philistine deity. Such divine claims are cast into shadow once the actual story is read - as I've said, the connection is vague at best, and, I think, the correct definition of Dagon would be 'giant slippery thingie'. Or 'One of the Deep Ones - somewhat of a deity in the Cthulhu Mythos'.
Now, it is obvious that I embrace the term Dagon under lovecraftian terms. If it has nothing to do with Lovecraft's Dagon, well... ohwell
[then again, Lovecraft and his Mythos... *shrugz*]
Correct me if I'm wrong or if there's something I don't know. (like an official Therion statement or something
)
