Thanks!

Does anybody know what the set-list would be like?
(except The Phantom Agony and Living a Lie)

Well, what I know is Illusive Consensus, Sensorium, Consign To Oblivion, Phantom Agony, Living A Lie, Cry For The Moon...There will be more tho. A song that has never been performed before... But you didn't hear it from me.
And I can't wait to meet NeMo to have some chat about Tarja and spam the forum afterwards.  :fish:

@NeMo: I am sorry NeMo. But at that time I had a boyfriend and he was terribly jealous and especially he hated my "abroad" friends. I had to have a date with him. He would kill me to cancel that.

I was pitying very long time after that I didn't meet You. :(
But then again, who does.

Good, but too much TPA songs. I hope there'll be some new ones like Fools of Damnation or Menace of Vanity which will go great for sure with orchestra and choir.  :wOOt:

I'm looking forward to meet you too Lasse! :) And to spam the forum again!

Speaking about Tarja, there is a vote for the next year rock opera show in Miskolc here
Tarja vs. Rhapsody of Fire vs. Kamelot
Seems that my wish to see Tarja performing at Miskolc Opera Festival is to come true! :yeha:

@Lasse: I hope you didn't vote for Rhapsody? :fish:

Of course not. How do you dare to think such thing? :fish: Instead I wrote to the official Tarja forum to inform her crazy obsessed freaky loyal fans. They found out that with deleting the cookies they can vote again. Not that I support this action ( ), but now it seems that Tarja is for winning now. :yeha:

Talking about Epica's songs: I didn't write all of them (I don't have an exact setlist), many others will be performed too. For example Chasing The Dragon and Quietus, I forgot those. But that's really all I know. :innocent:

Well, I've read on the official forum how you say that Tarja's album is shit... So that means you think Rhapsody is even bigger shit? Shit of Fire...

You can never catch the dragon.

We'll see about that... :P

the Metal Granny will play again! :yeha:

:wOOt:

:yeha:

I had to change my place because the drummer was covering the Metal Granny. ;D It was such a pleasure to look at that woman how she enjoyed the music and smiled all the time! :) The show was superb, the organization, Epica, the choir and the orchestra. The sound was perfect, you could hear every instrument. The lights and the atmosphere too. Here is the setlist:

Classic program:

Palladium
O Fortuna (Orff)
Dies Irea (Verdi)
Ombra Mai Fu (Handel)
1st part, New World Symphony(Dvorak)
Spiderman medley
Summer 3 (Vivaldi)
Montagues & Capulets (Prokovief)
Imperial March (Star Wars)
Stabat Mater (Pergolesi)
Unholy Trinity
In the Hall of the Mountain King (Grieg)
Pirates of the Caribbean medley

Epica program:

Indigo / The Last Crusade
Sensorium
Quietus
Chasing the Dragon
Feint
Never Enough
Beyond Belief
Cry for the Moon
Safeguard to Paradise
Blank Infinity
Living a Lie
The Phantom Agony

Bonus:

Sancta Terra
Illusive Consensus
Consign to Oblivion

They played all my favourite songs! :) I liked them all except for Living a Lie. They changed it... no grunts, no priest voice, different melody... I didn't like it. :( But that is the only thing I didn't like that evening. When they left the stage before the encore I shouted "Sancta Terra! Sancta Terra! Sancta Terra! ...." and when they returned they started playing exactly that one! :wOOt: Only that moment was worth my whole trip. And that was not the only coincidence that evening... after the 3rd classical piece I said to myself: "Where the heck is Simone!?" and couple of seconds after that she appeared on the stage! People immediately rushed to the stage, me included. So much about the sitting... I recorded the piece In The Hall Of The Mountain King from Grieg's Peer Gynt (:fish:), zoomed the Metal Granny at one point of course. ;D I wanted to record something from Epica's part but before that the organizers announced twice that the recording was to be strictly forbidden. So I didn't, and according to YouTube the other people didn't record anything too. :( But something can be seen here. ;) It was funny that someone from the audience threw a white wig onto the stage at the end of song The Phantom Agony and Simone put it on the head. :P

Simone with the white wig

Simone was beautiful, singing as well as in studio, headbanging even better and also air drumming during the songs. I like mezzo-sopranos more than sopranos in general. She reminds me to Tarja in lots of aspects... :wink2:

I'm also glad that I meant Lasse. :)

I made only one pic of the gig.

A magical evening... ^_^

I didn't and still don't have time to write a review (I'll have an exam today for example), but it was kick-ass! :yeha: There won't be a dvd, just a live cd. :)

Hm, but the "official" downloads look like a professional recording... (picture recording)... - I just keep dreaming / hoping :)

Too bad there won't be a DVD
it would be pretty awesome to see it if it came out though

although, I'm not sure if I'd be happy to see it, or it would make me even more sad for not have been able to attend the concert :(
either ways, it would be awesome to have it :D

I´d be very happy to finally see them life - especially in SUCH a concert... but I´ll be happy about a Live-CD as well.
Will it be of all the concert (including classical part) or only metal part??
