Noone guarantees this forum has no security holes as well. So, it's a part of an administrators job to regularly check for updates, prefferably to subscribe to a mailing list from the forum software developer. When an update is released, Markus, contact me ASAP so I can update the software. Go regularly to this page:
http://www.simplemachines.org/download/
and when you see au update (1.0.8 for example) send me an email immediately. Repeat for every update in the future. Or even easier - there is a news box in the control panel! Go there (press Admin button Luth), and when it says the same thing about updates email me.
