Right now she's with me. She's staying at my place tonight because my parents are busy enough with our guests. We had done that before when my parents were too busy, so Maggie already knows the place.

Adorable, Lucy!

Adorable - and utterly astounding. His Cuteness looks much like Abby - she may have looked just like that when she was a little child. The basic reddish brown colour, the white chest, white feet - longer "socks" on the forefeet than on the hind ones, the white tail-tip - all those details fit.

What kind of doggy is he and where do you have him from? How did he get to you?

János has found him on a homepage of a doggy shelter. He showed me in the morning and in the afternoon the doggy was at home with us! We took him by car from Kecskemét, that is about 50 km far.

He's probably going to be different from Abby, because he seems to be an Akita kind of "mixture", somewhat smaller and stronger than her.

You can see on the photos how much the boys are happy with him. Jácint loves to follow him with his sight, and laughs and giggles loudly.

Cats are still afraid, but very curious. I hope that in a couple of days their curiosity will win. They run away from him, but he only wants to play!

We are going to have another doggie from the shelter, on the 23rd January! We have been planning to have two dogs from the beginning. The second one is a German shepherd, still very young and very cute!

Oh, and János named him Jinjutsu - since he is a Japanese kind It means "the art of healing" in Reiki

So the cats will have to get used to a second dog as well? Poor them! What a quick decision, by the way - but you said you already wanted the dogs, so only the selection was so fast. Well, I'm really glad for all of you because it brings so much joy to everyone when a dog finds a new home.

That's a nice name for His Cuteness, but perhaps you'll pick a shorter calling-name as well. By the time you have pronounced his full name he has already eaten the slippers / the rabbit / the postman...

So I'm waiting for the update next Wednesday.

I was about to ask about the new doggie, Lucy. And yes, he's very cute and he seems to get along well with everybody else. Especially the last photo is saying a lot...
