Köszönöm, gracias, xiexie, dankeschön!
« on: November 09, 2009, 11:31:10 pm »
Hi folks,

Notessomes-followers are open-minded and enjoy travelling. So why not gather a few useful phrases in as many languages as possible here? A few greetings, a few phrases of politeness and a few insults per language should do. What do you think? :wOOt:

Let me start with my mother language...

Cheers!

Привет! [pri'vet] - Hi!
Здравствуйте! ['zdrastvujti!] - Hello!
Как дела? [kak di'la] - How are you?
Очень хорошо! ['ochin harasho] - Very well.
Что делаешь? [shto 'delaish] - What are you doing?
Сколько тебе лет? ['skolko ti'be let] - How old are you?

До свидания! [dasvi'danja] - Good bye (formal)
Пока! [pa'ka] Bye!
Где ты? [gde ti] - Where are you?

[e] sounds very softly, like [je] but without a pause. "ch", "zh" (which is more French) and "sh" I think you see what I mean))). I just don't know how to type this transcriptional signs.
