I think in order to get a really reliable result you have to repeat that over and over again in order to eliminate random effects. Also we would all have to do it under standardised conditions, with carefully adjusted monitors, identical lighting etc. Still it's fun to do it just like that - even though it was about to drive me crazy occasionally. :lol3:
Also, they should offer a special version of the test - only for metalheads - where you have to distinguish different shades of black. :ninja:

Oh my... I've just discovered this... It's the most crowded lipdub according the World Records Academy... It was "only" a 5.771 persons performance! And it was in Vic, a city from Catalonia. They are all lib-dubbing a song from a Valencian band who sings for Catalanism, and all the video is for Catalonia, and its (desirable) independence. You may not agree or understand it, but it's a fantastic document! There appear almost all Catalan tradition, from "castellers" (human towers), "bastoners" (a kind of dance with sticks), some sports...

Not really :-) I actually told only few people. Shelley was first to know, then I told to my friend Bára who wants a tattoo and we were supposed to get it one day together but as You see I did not keep the "promise" so I kind of felt that I owe it to her to tell it. Also 2 of my friends who I was/am supposed to meet in next days so they would see it anyway. :-)

And Sofia, the librarian girl from school who has problem with that little misfit as well as I do.
From the other people I got reactions quite good actually (I expected more or less: You are stupid, have you realized this is permanent?!! Oh no, of course I did not realize, I am thinking of it for 10 years and I still haven't realized tattoos are forver... sigh - luckily nothing like that came so far)
With my family - parents and grandparents it will be much tougher I guess. :) They won't like it.

This video was made in the guitarrists forum where Xiquet is very active. Every month they make a "jam session" with some of the users, and this time he wanted to participate for first time. There were more groups, and each one has their video.
The text in Spanish of the begining explains that everything was made with a modest equipment, almost a "home one" (while showing the mega-huge equipment). The guy says that he was surprised because each of the players came without anything special (while showing an incredible row of guitars), etc. At the end, around 5.13, it says that Xiquet continued practising his technique and speed with the 6 strings, and his latest work must be played at 1/2 r.p.m. (Xiquet told their group that he would have liked to play with more speed at a particular moment of the music, but he is not yet ready for that speed).
I suppose there will be more videos like this one in following months... :ninja: :music:

It's telling the story of siblings from my hometown who created an interactive map on Google Maps during the flood last June. That map spread information about road blocks, emergency shelters, and chiefly about sites where volunteer help was needed. During the flood incredibly many people helped, and they had to be coordinated somehow, directed to the places where help was needed. That map helped.
That's the story. The short film gives you some impressions of my home town. :)
