Someone seems to be a fan of C# tuning.

You have thicker strings (like a "thin" B-string where the E-string is placed) or you're using the generic strings that come with the bass?

Then this means I need to change my strings, since they are getting thinner due to [cough]excessive[/cough] playing.

BTW: Currently improvizing with "Paranoid" from Black Sabbath and learned most of "Sahara" from Nightwish.

it´s pretty easy song, but I don´t know why..I really like it..

Ok, that sounds exaggerated, but I've been working on some faster (and harder) basslines lately.
Been working on:
Black Sabbath- N.I.B. (It's fun, but it gets old, almost finished)
Mägo de Oz- Molinos de Viento (almost finished, just a few fast parts to go)
Grave Digger- Valhalla (finished, started it today for fun, got part of it by ear and figuring it out from guitar tabs)
