Personally, I'm thrilled that Snowy's still with Therion.
I like his antics. I like the theatrical over-the-topness (yes, that's a word now) that the band exhibits in concert. I enjoy seeing that they don't take themselves
that seriously. That probably stems from the fact that, in the last couple of years, I've stopped listening to metal. I've moved to different avenues of music, until, at one point, I started enjoying the whole thing, regardless of genre.
Now, that might seem as a thing so reasonable it bursts through as common sense, but I was surprised at how long it took me to accept the systematic chaos of sound as tasty. Of course, sans the safety of subculture citadels such as being a metalhead (a sympho-metalhead, at that!).

Alliteration aside
What I wanted to say was: I stopped listening to Therion a while back. And then, yesterday, I went to one of their gigs. Enjoyed myself immensely. Not because I sighed and gasped: "Music, thy name is Therion", but because I had fun. The music packed a punch, had some wonderful melodies, brought back a few memories and entertained me. They're entertainers, n'est-ce pas?
Really, in the end, that's all I need from them.
