Wolfshade, actually, Petter's songs on GK might not sound like the best composition-wise to you, but listen to the drums. And the flutes too. In fact, listen to the drums all through GK... Brilliance!

Nova rock concert special15-Jun-2008Opeth performed 5 songs at the Nova Rock festival (Austria) with guest bass player, Johan Niemann (Therion, Demonoid) filling in for Martin Mendez, who had the day off catering to the needs of his girlfriend and new born son. The setlist: Demon of the fall, Baying of the hounds, Masters apprentices, Heir apparent & The Drapery falls.
