That wasn't just a UK thing. Several aeons ago, when I was a young child, that used to appear on a West-German TV-show which was hosted by a a radiant-yellow flying caterpillar. (Damn, what the hell was I taking back then? :unsure:) Danger Mouse used to say to his assistant: "Lübke - Schnauze!" which translates to "Shut up, Lübke!", but I don't know what it said in the original. Sirius, can you tell me?

BEETLEJUICE!!!! I loved that one! i still watch it whenever I catch it on HTV1 or HTV2.. maybe even NOVA or RTL..  :)

@Serp: Balthazar was an awesome cartoon! Sucks that they don't broadcast it anymore though.

When I was 3-6 years old I also liked many Soviet cartoons. For example, this one ;) - http://mult-online.ru/ccp/415-skazka-o-care-saltane-smotret-onlajjn.html (The Tale about Tsar Saltan). One problem - I can't find it in English((.
