Title: The recent downtime
Post by: Markus on February 26, 2007, 09:56:00 pm
Hi folks,

we all have wondered about (and suffered from) the recent downtime. It had a good reason, though: Ivo, our hero updated the server-hard- and -software and even the forum software. Better performance and more security - thanks, man! :)

Cheers!

Thank you indeed. :)

I've had just one problem with Firefox: as I clicked on "HOME", the computer offered me to download the index.php file - the one that would have to run. But now I changed to Opera, and... wow! Problem solved. :innocent:

Hey Loke,

you entered the 4th of July as your birthday: July 2007 (http://ntsms.megatherion.com/index.php?action=calendar;year=2007;month=7).

Cheers!

Umm... I didn't say you entered your birthday in July 2007. ;) I said you said your birthday was the 4th of July and showed you the calendar of July 2007 as a proof. So there is a birthday date for you in the calendar. If it's wrong, it's up to you to change it. :ninja:

Cheers - and thanks again, Ivo!

Err... I can't find my avatar settings. Please, help!

Err... now that you mention it Lucy, I can't find either.
Oh... errr.... and another minor-stupid thing: when I like to see the new posts in a particular topic it doesn't take me the new posts any more, it only opens the topic at its very first post. I'm not gonna die for it, but it is a little bit annoying.
Cheers,
A.

My problem is that the picture part is missing in the "Forum Profile Info" part. Hope this helps. And I think Alu has the same problem.

I know, Lucy,

I just don't see why it's missing. I surely didn't switch this option off, and I have no idea how to switch it on. I've been searching the administrator's options but didn't find anything suitable. :(

Cheers!

Anybody gave me, thanks for my 11th karma!

Could somebody send a mail to Ivo please? There are lots of things to fix, the avatar settings, the calendar doesn't show the months, and the whole karma thingy is out of order. Maybe he could find out what to do (like giving a kick to the server). Thanks!

Mmmmh... I don't think Ivo is who can fix it, as it might be a problem of the forum software... or the good people who try to manage it

I'll try to do something, as well as I wish Markus try... but I don't have too much time by now! If we can't do it, then I'll ask the High Level (the owner of the server  :lol3: ).

Ye, the karma thingy doesn't work anymore, it's weird, it's says that a "session error has ocurred" strange...  :ninja:
