Title: Energy conservation

Ok, folks, I know this is a very pain-in-the-ass topic, but I was assigned to work on a project on it.
I need to find out about Spain's (lucky we have a few Spanyards among us! :)) Energy consrvation programs and methods. If you're insterested, also post a little the way they do it in your country....

In my case, here the only way to save energy is your own conscience telling you what to do and what not to do and balckouts at least once a month.

In Croatia we don't preserve energy - energy preserves us.

I'm Spanish (well... Catalan better  :evil2: ). And... I don't know what to reply! I know we have some laws about it, but I don't know them. And... I think that our conscience is the better (and perhaps only) real way too.

are we talking about governmental activities in Spain only, or about energy preservation in general?

I was assigned to research about Spain's practices and laws. But discussion about energy preservation in general is welcome too. :)
