OK, I see the chat thingy, and 10 (maybe 15) of those 135 hits are mine, I just want to know what's the deal with it, does it work, or is it just making the forum look cooler?

Well... I've been talking in chat maybe twice. And a lot of times I went to chat but nobody else entered there. We are very few NTSMS forum members, so it's difficult having a lot of people chatting at same time. Maybe now, with Therion_Chat crash... :P (it doesn't mean I like the crash! only that maybe some people can fly to here since official chat would run again...)

Hi there,

I´m not always using computers where I can use Java applets, so I´d like to know whether I can enter the chat by IRC. If so, I need the server and channel names.

What is IRC? I had Java before I formated disk and I couldn't enter TS chat. So if I install java I won't be able to enter TS chat and if I instal IRC I won't be able to enter NTSMS chat??

So what should I do?

Don´t worry, Offman,

Java and IRC are alternative ways to chat. IRC is the older and IMHO more flexible one. You can enter the chats on megatherion.com with Java or IRC, as you wish. You can enter the chat here via Java, and I just wanted to know whether IRC works here, too. Using Java you can visit both chats.

You forgot TS chat. I had java before and I couldn't enter TS chat!!

Hi Offman,

the TS chat runs on the same server as the plain Therion chat, and I`ve used both with a java client. Something else must have been wrong if it didn´t work for you.
