Ok, ok... I confess:

I have not spare time!!!

Well, I have, but very few. It depends on what "spare time" means for you. If it means "free time to do whatever you want and be bored if that's your wish", I almost have not. In this case, I can tell I use to be in internet and read/post NTSMS as well as play a bit in Popomundo (http://www.popomundo.com).

If it means "time where you are not working or studing: I try to relax a bit, if I can, but main part of the time (mainly n weekends) are used to be with my bf.

Hi there,

well, I do pretty normal things in my spare time: Meet friends, go to the movies, go to the gym, visit the metal dealer of my trust, do some stargazing, work for the local society of amateur astronomers - pretty average, isn't it? Not necessarily everything on the same day, though. :D

Cheers!

That'S perfct Luth!... first you eat cookies, then you get a belly... and then you the belly dance for us :D

OK, to the topic... spare time?... what's that?
No seriously, when I have some time to spare I watch some football on the t.v., go the movies, read a non-scientific book, take a walk with my g.f. , do some birdwatching, go to a concert or a museum... and (more often) ... just sleep :brutale_smilies100:

Well Luth, eating is like breathing. I do that all the time, so, I don't have to wait to eat something 'til I have some time to spare

Spare time...mmm...

There are some things I'd like to do on my spare time. One is go out far away from the capital and spend time either at the beach or at the mountains.

But reality is that when I have spare time at the end I am too lazy and tired to do anything so I just become a piece of furniture beign at the pc, sleeping, watching movies, and later go out to a metal bar  :D

Hi Virus,

fitness... what exactly do you mean? Do you jump around, doing aerobics, or do you actually lift weights?

Cheers!

Markus

He actually lifts weight, and that kind of stuff. Pretty boring if you ask me. Where's the fun in that?!
Title: Re: Spare time!
Post by: Markus on July 25, 2006, 03:59:52 pm
Hey Liv,

that may look boring, and perhaps it really is if you don't do it properly. But if you do it well you go close to your physical limits. You need to concentrate in order to do all motions the right way, and you actually need to fight. THAT is the fun in it. Of course, you can only have this fun if you, well, try it. :D

Cheers!

Markus, on his way to the gym

I still don't see the fun in it: I went to the gym once, and worked at all those weight-lifting machines; it was heeeelll boring, even if I was concentrating on doing the right move!

Which means you didn't do it properly, Liv. ;) Not enough weight, I guess. You can't bored when you have to watch so you don't drop 20 kg of iron on your toes. :P

Cheers!

Of course you can, Markus! If you're used to do at least 2 things at the same time, you surly get bored while lifting weights. For example: I like reading with music background. Most the people I know can only read in deep silence.

Hehe... then consider it a mystery you have no access to. ;)

The only real danger of boredom lies in the rather long breaks you need. But if there are nice folks around, that's no problem, either.

Cheers!

:bann: Hahha Ely , gym is like a second church , you have to go it once a day or maybe 1 day gym . 1 day relaxing . This is not booring becouse lifting weights makes the body more athletic.
I don't find the gym something spooky or booring. i like it. But it's also hard
Gym and swimming perfect combination :insane: ^_^ and yes no beers

Hey man,

what's wrong about beer? I know, it doesn't have much allo'ol , but then again it does bring carbonhydrates that your muscles need.

Cheers!

I know it makes me more athletic, but that doesn't have anything to do with boredom. Swimming makes me athletic, and I love swimming.

Cannot deny nice guys are a good part of gyms, though. Sadly, I didn't have to luck of going to the gym AND having really nice guys around *sigh*

Hey Liv,

by "nice folks" I mean people to talk to and to joke with, not to look at!

Cheers!
