Title: Real spam

Hi folks,

there have been some real spam messages recently. Should we really leave those threads in the forum and lock them, or shouldn't we just delete them? Luth or myself will also have to check whether we can disable posting for anyone but registered members to prevent such incidents in the future.

Then track down the perpetrators and delete them in RL too.  :ph34r:


If we leave the locked topic in the forum they win!  So kill them all!!!

I visit lots of forums.
Non of it ever deletes anything... however bad it is.
Exept real SPAM, they allways delete spam...
Because spam will suxceed if it remains to be read.
If it gets deleted, it wan't be read and won't do it's purpose

BTW, won't you post an anti-spam guidance, to see if a post is spam or not? Maybe that would prevent more trouble.

well, what counts as spam on NTSMS? I suggest the following criteria:

- It's has no sense. AND

- It's no fun.

(Thus, ads from strangers automatically fall in this category.)

Well, I think that "Ads from strangers" covers it as a definition.

*concerned that some of my own posts could legitimately be construed as making no sense & being no fun*  :unsure:

I did not deleted one 'cuz I wan't sure it was REAL spam. So many crazy members that one cannot be sure anymore  :D , but from now on, everything like that will be deleted  :ph34r:
