Title: Therion foods and drinks

the following question came up as I discussed a DVD night with some friends of mine: What foods and drinks should be served on a Therion night?

Let me see...

- Weißbier, preferrably Franziskaner, poured properly. (Chris is known to be a Weißbier drinker.)

- Red wine. ("Seven secrets of the Sphinx", "Rise of Sodom and Gomorrha",...)

- Apples ("Uthark Runa").

- Vegetarian food only (Chris is known to be a vegetarian.)

- Last, not least: Cookies! (Though I forgot why. :ph34r:)

What else do you need for a genuine Therion fan evening?

About the Wine of Aluqah... better not. I remember a discussion in Megatherion about it, and I think it was Ahriman, said something about rituals with menstrual blood... :afraid1:

A genuine Therion night couldn't be complete with the previoulsy mentioned Chocolatl (You know, the drink of chocolate with yummy chilli :D ) which the Aztec warriors drank with the flesh of their defeated enemies.

I do know chocolate with chilli, in fact I had some just yesterday. I also put chilli, among other spices, into my hot chocolate in winter. But I've never had the chance to taste chili-chocolate-icecream. :bawling:

If you want to get drunk with ice cream you would have to eat like 10-15 litters... and then you would die because of a diabetic coma before getting drunk. :lol:

I guess my sight had the effects of alcohol, for I thought some residuals of a Petard (or how are those rockets that explode in coloful cirles called?! I know the word in Spanish, but as English is not my mother language, I don't know it English) that our neighbors launched would fall on me; I ran away into the house, the glass door was closed, and the rest talks by itself.
I scared my parents almost to death.
I started listening to Therion when I was lying on bed with a bag with ice on my forehead that night.

Just put it in some sea weed covered with sticky rice, put some cream cheese, roll it. Slice it into pieces, and ready to eat! (Yummy... Makes me feel like eating sushi... or Pizza)

-50 ml of tomato juice
-10 ml of free choice liqour
-1/2 tea spoon of salt (of course, it's gotta taste like real blood) :evil:
-red colorant if it's not red enough for your taste

Of course, if you're a vampire, it's a lot easier, you can just suck some alcoholic's blood, but you'd miss the tomato juice though.

you're not even supposed to drink wine or even beer yet. So don't worry about the harder stuff.

I haven't actually tried any of these suggestions, but I could cope with them. Although I'm convinced that Sorath's Flame is gonna burn the world, or at least your throat if you try it.

@Markus: I am half-Latin American, but here where I'm living, there's almost no spicy hot chilli, only in TRUE Mexican restaurants. And people here say even the weakest and non-picant stuff is hot.

1/10 of my friends eat hot chilis so , is not a big porcentage. What is sauerkraut?

sauerkraut is a fermented white cabbage. The cabbage is cut into thin stripes and fermented without oxygen under water and salt. Under these conditions lactobacilli produces lactic acid and lots of flavours. Making sauerkraut is a traditional way of preserving this vegetable, thus it used to be a very important means of vitamin supply in the winter or on long ship journeys in former time. Sauerkraut is said to be a German national dish - hence the nickname "krauts" for my people.

Yeah, veggie food will definitely be Therion food, red wine cannot be missed and was mentioned before, and Tuna... Tuna wasn't even a Therion food when this thread was last posted in. :lol3: It's gotta be Tuna from the 17th century, though, but I heard old fish in tin cans is a Swedish specialty...
