the DVD set is about to hit the stores, and for all we know it must be a very large and well done package. I'm curious: Will you buy it? Have you already ordered it? If so, where from? Amazon, for instance, is said to have a very cheap offer - apparently selling the set without any profit for themselves.

I'll buy it from the local metal store, then watch it with my Therion buddies at the planetarium. The store owner deserves any support, and if I'm lucky I might catch a free poster with the box. :) He already has a poster hanging in his store as an advertisement, and he knows I'm a fan...

I have no other choise, 'cause I bet those idiotics won't bring CoB here. In fact, there's just one place where you can find Therion's records, and that with loads of luck!

No, I won't buy it. I don't buy DVDs (except occasional Sabbath ones!) - and I'm not a huge fan of live recordings anyway (I do have Live In Midgard which is quite good as a live album).

I'm not a big DVD customer, either, but this time I'll make an exception. :D

BTW I talked to the metal dealer of my trust today. He said he'll have a few posters left over that he can give away to the first customers that buy CoB - and that he'll count me as the very first in any case. :iconmi77kl:

I think that'll buy Therion's DVD mostly because of the Live CD's (contrary to Sirus I like Live CD's :)), because of the film the Golden Embrace (I've always been curious about this film) and to see what I've missed from other shows (from Colombia for example).

BTW, I don't know, I'll buy it around September, ask for it on Christmas (no, I don't belive in Santa) or beg to my dad to get it for my B-day... So sad...

I bought it yesterday from the metal dealer of my trust and got a free poster with it. :iconmi77kl:

It's ten hours of video material, so I haven't even watched half of it. I started with the Mexico Shows and like them a lot. Nicely filmed, close to the musicians, in good quality of sound and picture. You also get shots of the crowd from time so you can catch some of the atmosphere. Very nice indeed!

I also like the live versions of the songs that really differ from the studio versions - as live should always do.

I had a short glimpse of some of the historic material, and it was in low quality. But hey, that was to be expected! Now I'm looking forward to seeing the old video clips and the Golden Embrace.

Oh, and the menus are done beautifully, too, and the whole package makes a very noble impression. :)

I've just begun to watch it, some clips of every DVD, and I have to say that: WOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!! I'll coment better later, but only a few hints:

-Marvelous artwork and menus. Very cool and interactive (as a menu is supposed to be :P).

-I've seen a clip of "Paroxysmal Holocaust"... how old Chris was there? 16? :blink: Definetly, they have changed to better :pop:

Well, tomorrow is the release date in the USA for CoB. I preordered mine at Amazon, so I just have to wait until they send it to me. I can hardly wait!

Luth, I swear, I really want to go to Barcelona to go to the Therion show with you. Can you imagine the fun we could have at a Therion concert?? :iconmi77kl:

Can't wait!! AArgh... I really enjoy watching dvds... And sincerly i've been waiting for a Therion dvd for a long time +))
