Ok, I'll post it tomorrow :-) I'll think of the recipe (usually I just put in whatever I like :D  )
But then again, who does.

In that case, milady, I just need to know what you like.  :wink2:

Nah, really looking forward to it! That sounds like something for me. I might try it the weekend after the next.

Cheers!

Today's lunch will be Slovakian national food. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halu%C5%A1ky

My version of the food contains the cheese bryndza and sauerkraut. My bf's version contains bryndza and lard ( :-X hate lard). But important is we both can have our own version of the food at the same time

I absolutely love Margarita pizza, Agnes.

Tomato and basil, on a pizza are the best combination ever!

For lunch, today, I grilled some chicken breats, mashed potatoes, sliced tomato, and iced tea.

:-)

Oh yum yum,

I found some Italian blood oranges from certified organic farming yesterday. :wOOt: :yeha: The peels are not even treated with wax or chemical preserving agents, so the peels are explicitly suitable for consumption.

Guess what goes into my birdfood these days? :ninja:

Cheers!

That sounds great, Eresh!

Melons are offered here, too, but I'm not touching them. It's simply the wrong time of year up here - but I'm looking forward to eating melons in the summer.

Cheers!

We also have melons, watermelons... and since some weeks ago, strawberries and cherries! I also think it's the wrong time for them, and I prefer season fruits  :disgust:

To be honest, my queen, I even find those off-season fruits annoying. Don't get me wrong, when I see that rather poor people are buying strawberries and grapes right now, then I think that something is going very wrong. Fruit carried halfway around the world that would grow here just a couple of months later should not be so cheap.

Cheers!

We  also can buy melons and such, but I find them expensive. I did buy some pineapple thou... I prefer seasonal food, usually it tastes better and is also more healthy than what we get in stores. Lemons, oranges, apples, bananas are more or less it for this winter :)

I just baked chocolate - cinnamon cupcakes! shares

Hey folks,

I'm aware how arrogant and cruel my latest remark here may sound, so let me put this straight: I'm not complaining that poverty isn't what it used to be because the poor can even afford fresh fruit at any time! I'm just observing that almost everybody here can observe grapes at this wrong time of this year, and I take that as a sign that they are very cheap - so cheap that their price doesn't reflect the amount of natural resources consumed and of environmental damage done.

To me it's also apples, oranges, chicory, cabbages and carrots mainly, but I'm looking forward to spring and summer when all the other yummy stuff comes up. :wOOt:

Cheers!

I ate a little piece of papaya yesterday, with lime juice on it. The fruit was a present for one of our friends who loves it, and I was in a good place in a good time. He's going to try to plant the seeds.

Well, I buy apples and carrots because they are the only fruit and vegetable I use to eat all the time.

I have to admit I do not think so much of the fruit being carried all the world long as much as the fact that the fruit is usually "plastic". What's the difference if I plant it here in winter under aritficial light etc and getting the same but "just" from a country 20 thousand miles away?

Sadly, You don't get fruits and vegetables from our own country usually even in the season. We are not able to plant so much and also lots of it gets sold in Poland or such instead of our country.
But then again, who does.
