Fresh bread is even better than cookies...

That's a tough call, Lucy. I'll give bread and cookies an even vote. These Frosted Animals are so good:

What are these for, mommy?

Let's bake Aluqak <_<
Hi Eve,
admittedly, I make my own bread as well. I use a plain oven, though, and as I mentioned in the shoutbox I consider yeast a newfangled knickknack. :lol3: I do my bread the same way it has been done for millennia, with sourdough. Ever tried that technique?
Cheers!
Markus

Hi Markus,
I never tried baking bread with sourdough, just yeast. And I use the bread machine for baking regular bread. Sometimes I bake sweet breads using a box mix, and I'll use the normal oven for that. According to the wiki, yeast has been used for baking bread for centuries... beginning with the Egyptians.
Just a minor detail girls.... I ate the the baking-machine (I'll do the same with any oven if I have the chance :D)

Don't push your luck Aluqak! We'll just buy another machine! *knows where they're on sale this week*
*Eve joins the other girls in the plot to bake an angler-bread*

that can't refer to bakers' yeast, only to remnants from the beer production - that is, wild yeast again, just as in sourdough. Of course there are other reasons to try sourdough: It's tastier, keeps the bread longer fresh, and there's even a health aspect. And it's much more fun if you ask me. :) Oh, and have I mentioned that it's really, really tastier?
Cheers!
